Tackle Football Programs

Senior Tackle

(5th & 6th Grade)


Grade Level:
 5th & 6th Grade

Equipment Provided (with registration fee & equipment deposit): Helmet with chin strap, 1- mouthpiece, shoulder pads, pants with pads, and game jersey.

Equipment Needed: Athletic shoes/ cleats, athletic undergarments, and practice jersey.

Practice Days: Monday through Thursday at 5:30 p.m. and will last no later than 8:00 p.m. until the first game. This doesn’t mean you will practice every day, this is up to the coaches to decide which days and how long each practice is.

After the first game, only 3 practice days per week are allowed and coaches will announce days and times.

Games: Away games are on Saturday and Home games are on Sundays; coaches may elect to play in post-season tournaments

Games Played: Cosmo Park

Weight Limit: No weight limit

Fundamentals of tackle football will be taught. MSHAA High School football rules will govern all play. Some special or modified rules will apply.

Players will be assigned to teams based on their High School zones.

Rookie Tackle

(3rd & 4th Grade)


Grade Level:
3rd and 4th Grade (must be enrolled in Fall 2022)

Fee: $155 (normal registration)

Equipment Provided (with registration fee & equipment deposit): Helmet with chin strap, 1- mouthpiece, shoulder pads, pants with pads, and game jersey.

Equipment Needed: Athletic shoes/ cleats, athletic undergarments, and practice jersey.

Practice Days: Monday through Thursday at 5:30 p.m. and will last no later than 8:00 p.m. until the first game.  As the season goes on, and sunset gets earlier, times will adjust.

After the first game, only 3 practice days per week are allowed and coaches will announce days and times.

Games: Away games are on Saturday and Home games are on Sundays; coaches may elect to play in post-season tournaments

Games Played: Cosmo Park

Weight Limit: 115 pounds to advance ball (quarterbacks, running backs, tight ends, and receivers)

Fundamentals of tackle football will be taught. MSHAA High School football rules will govern all play. Some special or modified rules will apply.

Players are divided up to teams according to the High School they are zoned for.
